prices, right in the heart of Edinburgh.

The Café is a great space to meet friends and family. It’s a light and bright space that looks out onto the busy Royal Mile, offering tranquillity from the hustle and bustle. The menu includes vegetarian options, gluten free options, children’s portions and high chairs, and has free Wi-Fi.

We’re family-friendly with lots of space for buggies. Children can enjoy our Storywall and activity box whilst you relax.

• Sat & Sun: 10am – 5pm
• International Supper Club every Wednesday: 5.30pm to 9pm
• Evenings for all Storytelling Centre Performances.

The Bookshop

Browse our bookshop in the medieval luckenbooths of John Knox House.

Our eclectic shop has some of the best resources for stories and storytelling in Scotland, many only available to buy
through the Scottish Storytelling Centre.

We have staff favourites, classic collections and unique stories for children and adults. We also have a specialist collection
of Scottish History books about John Knox, Mary, Queen of Scots and the Reformation in Scotland, alongside landscapes and local interest.

We have a rotating stock of artworks from our exhibitors, audio books and CDs by traditional artists, alongside postcards, keyrings and various oddities.
