'a place dedicated to the fine art of telling stories. And it is fabulous.' (Edd McCracken, Book Riot)

The Scottish Storytelling Centre is a vibrant arts venue with a seasonal programme of live storytelling, theatre, music, exhibitions, workshops, family events and festivals.

The venue and its staff have a welcoming spirit, an inclusive nature, an encouraging atmosphere, and talent and creative skill to boot. What makes the Centre special is its unique approach to collaboration and the welcome it affords performers, customers and audiences.

Quoted on the front of the building is an old Scottish proverb, “The story is told eye to eye, mind to mind and heart to heart”, which sums up the Centre’s ethos nicely.
